Seeing the Texai on the The Big Bang Theory caps off a successful market introduction of the Texai robotic telepresence.

Six months after the first 25 Texai were built, a fury of interest came about culminating in press coverage in:

the NYTimes – The Boss Is Robotic, and Rolling Up Behind You

the XPrize Foundation – Sergey Brin gives his speech via a Texai

the IEEE Spectrum – How I Became a Texai Robot and Went Partying

the MIT Technology Review – Open-Source Robots Distributed

the Times UK – Robots bring telepresence to stay-at-home workers

Our crowning achievement was when the producers of The Big Bang Theory contacted us to borrow a Texai for an episode.

If not for the amazing work of the Texai team, this opportunity would have been missed. The Texai team deserves all the credit for an amazing effort.
